What is Life? With Martina & Tomash
What Is Life? is Martina talking about all the stuff we're supposed to keep quiet about — the messy emotions, the fuck-ups, the "am I the only one feeling this?" moments. Hi! I'm Martina. I feel like I've lived 330 lives in my 33 years of life, I've moved like 47 times in 6 different countries, I have a golden retriever named Buchta, and I co-built a multi-million dollar couples bracelets business with my boyfriend while simultaneously wondering if we were gonna break up every other week. Plot twist: I created this podcast to be MINE - my solo thing, my space. Episode 1 was just me, finally. Episode 2? Tomash, my boyfriend, crashes it. Every episode since he won't freaking leave! The guy who literally said "I don't do podcasts, do it alone“ is now here. Every. Single. Time. And the universe is laughing because I wanted this for YEARS — us, together, talking. But it only happened when I stopped white-knuckling the dream and let that shit go. That's LIFE: giving you exactly what you want the second you stop being a control freak about it. I started this because I couldn't stop asking "what is life?" after my third breakdown, second country, and approximately 86 moments of thinking "there's something fundamentally wrong with me." There wasn't. I was just a human being having a human experience, which apparently includes: moving to different country every few years, dating the wrong people for the right reasons, building a business while having daily meltdowns, and learning that nothing you plan actually happens the way you plan it. This podcast is chaos. Sometimes solo, sometimes Tomash interrupts with his completely different memory of the same event (we literally live in 2 different relationships, I swear), sometimes our golden retriever Buchta snores so loud you'll think your audio is broken.
We record on balconies & streets in Vietnam, we disagree mid-episodes, we forget what we were talking about. I overshare like it's my job (it kind of is now). Don't expect Instagram highlight reel, no "5 steps to fix your life" - this is just two people figuring it out in real-time and saying it out loud. If you've ever felt too much, moved too fast, fucked up too hard, or wondered if everyone else got a manual you didn't — welcome home.
Grab a coffee. Buckle up. It's messy… It’s LIFE!

13. Masterclass On Trusting Life, Letting Go Of Control & Our Thailand Move
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What our move to Thailand taught us about control, surrender, and the strange peace that comes when you finally trust life to take you where you're meant to go.
OK so we recorded this one on a Monday morning.
5am dog walk. Ocean swim. Green tea. A few cigarettes (yes, I'm saying it — I'm not hiding anything 😂). Then we came home, put on matching outfits, and sat down in the middle of a road in Vietnam to record a podcast about life.
And somehow it became the most honest conversation we've had about control, fear, and what it actually means to stop fighting your own life.
This is Episode 13 of What Is Life with Martina and Tomash.
WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT:
✨ The Monday Morning Gratitude Hit — Before we got into anything heavy, Martina just… stopped. And said: look at our Monday morning. Ocean. Coffee. Each other. Recording a podcast about everything we've learned. This is exactly the life we always wanted. And sometimes you need someone to remind you that you're already living the dream — even when your mind is screaming about visa documents and dog certificates.
✨ The Thailand Problem — We want to go to Thailand. We have a dog. We don't know which airline takes dogs. We don't know what documents we need. We don't know if she must wear a muzzle. The visa rules are changing. There are about 50 ways this could go "wrong". This is what we're talking about when we say: real life. And it became the perfect metaphor for everything in this episode.
✨ The Old Way — Forcing Everything — Martina used to approach uncertainty the way most of us do. One goal. Do everything in your power to make it happen. Push. Control. Stress. Manipulate the universe with your bare hands until it cooperates. It works sometimes. But God, it's exhausting. And lonely. Because when you think you are responsible for everything turning out right — you don't feel held by life.
✨ The New Option — What if it's going to be okay no matter what? Not toxic positivity. Not pretending. But genuinely arriving at the place where whatever happens — Thailand, Vietnam, somewhere else, going home for a while — it's going to be good. Because you trust that. And THAT is where the freedom is.
✨ Two Completely Different Minds, Same Answer — Tomash stays in the present moment. Martina faces the fear head-on. He ignores the "what ifs." She looks at them straight in the eye until they lose their power. Completely different approaches. And somehow — they both arrive at the same place. Same freedom. Same peace. Different road.
✨ What's the Worst Thing That Can Happen? — One of the most useful questions you can ask yourself when the anxiety is spiraling. Your mind will show you what it's afraid of. And then — if you actually look at it — you realize the worst case scenario is bearable. It's not the disaster your brain promised. It's just… fine. That realization changes everything.
✨ Present Moment Is Not as Easy as It Sounds — Tomash makes presence look effortless and it genuinely drives Martina a little crazy. 😂 Because for some of us, the mind is LOUD. There are voices. There are spirals. This episode doesn't pretend presence is simple. It just shows you what it looks like when two people who do it differently both get there.
✨ You Cannot Speed Up Your Own Evolution — Whether it's learning to let go, trusting life, or just chilling the f*ck out — you can't force it. You can't rush it. The evolution happens when it happens. And somehow, that's the most relaxing thing anyone has ever said.
THIS EPISODE IS FOR YOU IF:
⇰ You're someone who controls everything — every detail, every outcome, every possible disaster — and you're exhausted
⇰ You're going through something uncertain right now and your brain won't stop running worst-case scenarios
⇰ You want to let go but you have no idea how to actually do that
⇰ You've tried to "be present" and it hasn't worked and someone making it sound easy makes you want to throw something
⇰ You know intellectually that things will work out — but your body hasn't gotten the memo yet
⇰ You just want someone to tell you that wherever it goes, it's going to be okay
WHAT THIS EPISODE IS:
✅ The most real conversation we've had about control, surrender and what happens when you finally stop fighting
✅ Proof that two people can have completely opposite minds and still arrive at the exact same freedom
✅ A Monday morning in Vietnam that somehow turned into a masterclass on trusting life
✅ Tomash and Martina at their most honest — disagreeing, triggering each other, and figuring it out anyway
✅ The kind of episode you think about the next time life doesn't go the way you planned
ABOUT US:
I'm Martina (34, started the episode crying with gratitude on a beach, ended it a little triggered by how easily Tomash does the presence thing, cried again probably 😂). He's Tomash (36, stayed in the present moment the whole episode, genuinely confused why anyone would do it differently, somehow the most calming person alive). We're the couple behind Magnetic Couples Bracelets. We live in Vietnam. We have a golden retriever named Buchta who travels with us around the World. Together 24/7 for 6 years. English is our second language. We swear. We disagree. We always end up in the same place.

P.S. — The bracelets click together when you hold hands and Tomash said it brings him into the present moment every time. I cried when he said that. Of course I did. 💕
This is life. Planning, worrying, letting go, trusting. And somehow arriving exactly where you were supposed to be. 🎢
When you think you are responsible for everything turning out the way you want, it's really lonely and it's really so much pressure on you. Yeah. Because you don't feel held by life.
SPEAKER_00If you remember those two things that you cannot speed it up and you cannot slow it down, then you can just chill because it will happen when it will happen.
SPEAKER_03This is exactly how I always wanted to live. And this is our Monday morning.
SPEAKER_00Future Tomas will deal with that. So why am I gonna be worried about something that is chance one out of billion that's gonna happen?
SPEAKER_03And it also need to do to letting go of control. Trust, allow, surrender.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I feel like that's some new option opened for me, which is that no matter how it's gonna end up, it's gonna be okay.
SPEAKER_03When they click, it brings me into the present moment. They are the anchor for me personally. Baby, don't worry. Don't worry, no more. That's a good one. Right? That's a really good one.
SPEAKER_00Definitely better one than than before.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Have a good listen. Let's go.
SPEAKER_00Today we are right in the middle of the road.
SPEAKER_03Right in the middle of the road. If you're watching this on YouTube, look. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And it's amazing here again.
SPEAKER_03And I think it's also very symbolic because together we're walking the path of life. And so deep! Oh my god, Martina! Again, connecting everything.
SPEAKER_00Well, everybody is walking the path of life.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but not everybody is recording podcasts on in the middle of an abandoned road and calls it their podcast studio.
SPEAKER_00That's true.
SPEAKER_03That's really fucking cool.
SPEAKER_00But actually, I was scouting today, one location, and it's gonna be incredible. And we can go there in the morning.
SPEAKER_03Is there shade?
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_03He was scouting with a dog on the walk, right? And we will see the mountains.
SPEAKER_00Of course.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00Without mountains, fuck that.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_00This is the best part of that view.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Well, I wanna start with the injection of gratitude, positivity, and awareness of how beautiful life is and how we can hold the paradox of two things in the same time. It's Monday morning. You woke up at five, went for a walk with a dog, I woke up at six, and then when you came home, we did our workouts, then we changed the swimwear, we went to the ocean, had coffee, had uh green tea, I might have had a few cigarettes, just putting it out there so that I don't hide anything. And I just realized on that beach, like fuck, this is our Monday morning, and then we come home, take a shower, put on our matching clothes and record a podcast from our hearts about what we go through, what we learn. Learning to detach from the outcome what it will bring us. But this is exactly how I always wanted to live. And this is our Monday morning, and I just want to express gratitude and appreciation for all the decisions and steps we have taken together since the moment we met again after 12 years of not seeing each other. Every single decision led us to this moment, baby. Every single twist and turn, every fight, every makeup kiss, every meditation, and all the things in the past that we believed would save us. And then leaving that behind us led us here in front of this camera to speak to these microphones and to each other. I mean, we were doing this no matter what before, but now we can share it with the world, and hopefully someone gets value from it. But if not, we do, and that's what matters for first and foremost. And I'm really grateful for it because I don't know how about you, but I'm living exactly in the present moment. If I don't think about how much money is on my bank account, if I don't think about what's ahead of me, to buy flights, take care of the visa for Thailand, go to the vet and all the things with the dog because we travel with her on the plane. If I let go of all of these thoughts, if I let go of the fear of the unknown, and if I focus on this moment, I'm living exactly the moment I always wished for, with the love of my life in Asia, speaking to the camera about life and learning and realization. So thank you. I love you, and I'm so grateful that it's possible that we can do this together.
SPEAKER_00Thank you. And very I'm very grateful that you said this because you know, with all the worries and all the things that life is bringing to our daily life, I feel like that sometimes we seem to forget about all the amazing that forgetting. And yes, I'm also very grateful that this is how we have it.
SPEAKER_03It's a reminder. And you know what's beautiful about you and me together? We're such a team that when I forget, you remind us.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03When you forget, I remind us.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's true.
SPEAKER_03You know, even when we go through like individually our lower periods of emotional state, the other one always stands up and is there to hold the other. Yeah, and it happens without effort, it's crazy. Sometimes you feel bad, and I suddenly I'm like, oh wow, okay, I'm here to hold us, I'm here to support us, I'm here to be the reminder. And then that's the beauty of life that somehow, energetically or invisibly and visibly, the life goes through us, and the love always is there when we most need it. Yeah, so that's what I wanted to start with.
SPEAKER_00Thank you. I'm very grateful for that. And I also always wanted that, and this is the freedom that I was talking about in the last episode, and this is what I always wanted. And when you have it, like obviously you have other things that you worry about, and other things that are making you feel like shit or whatever, you know, other lessons and things, so it never stops. But it's always good to remind yourself what you have and be grateful for that. And you said many times already in past episodes, but we never really talk about it that much. That you are in the present moment, and I think that's that's really important thing. And I want to start with with that because I feel like that I'm experiencing something new these days, especially like from yesterday, because yesterday we said that we're gonna buy tickets for Thailand.
SPEAKER_03Flights, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Right, flight tickets, yes. We're gonna go in one month after being here for six months together. We will in Vietnam. And we were ready, like, let's buy tickets, and then we sat down and I'm gonna speak for myself. I realized that there's so many things that are uncertain, and just they can go so many ways. Let's say uh we need some papers for a dog that we don't really know what kind and how and where, and if it's gonna be okay for one airline, and then if it's gonna be okay for the other airline, and then for the customs in muzzle in yeah, in in Thailand, and then we need to teach her how to wear a muzzle, and then I couldn't find the flights because I don't know what was going on there. But we need just certain airlines that takes us with the dog, and then with the visa, we we are not sure like how long we can even stay there, you know. Yeah, it's just because it's changed recently, the road changing, and then you can extend it a little bit, but it's not guaranteed that you can. It's just like there's like so many uncertain things that can go not one, not two, but like 50 different directions. If any of them will change, it feels so unsafe. This is uncertain and so like going into unknown. And I feel like in the past, I just had one goal and I would just go for it, and I would just do everything in my power, just so we so all everything aligns this way.
SPEAKER_03From your own from my like real power, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like I was doing everything I could, right? Like, let's say we want to go on Thailand on this day, and I'm gonna just do everything I can just so it is, and be stressed about it, and just making sure that it happens, and that's that's how I would approach it in the past. Do everything in my power just so it's like this, and do everything that was in my power just so it doesn't end up like this, yeah. You know, and it's just so hard. It's exhausting, so hard, and it's it's so stressful, and it gives you so much fear, right? Because you are afraid, so what if it's gonna go like this? You know, it's gonna be really bad.
SPEAKER_03I just wanna say that when you think you are responsible for everything turning out the way you want, it's really lonely and it's really so much pressure on you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Because you don't feel held by life, and then you think you are the one that makes everything happen. And that's I think the pressure and fear. It creates so much, the stakes are so high, and you think you are the one who needs to do it.
SPEAKER_00But you are the one who needs to do certain things, but also there are certain things that are completely out of your control. Yeah, like we said before, we believe that certain things are pre-planned, that are already set in your destiny or however you're gonna call it, right? And if something's meant to be, we believe it's gonna happen. And if it's something's not meant to be, then it's not gonna happen. And then if you're trying so hard to do something that's not meant to be, then you're gonna be disappointed, and it's gonna be so hard because life's gonna bring you so many things that we'll put in front of you. It's just so hard. It gives you so many, so much stress, anxiety, anxiety, and and just feeling like shit and being scared and being stressed, and just disconnected from life. So so so hard. Yeah, but then what's happening now, first time I see that, like I see that my ego would like to control this situation and just to make sure that we're gonna get to Thailand and that we're gonna have a ticket, and that we will be able to go with the dog, and everything's gonna be okay, and and all of those things, you know. But at the same time, I feel like that's some new option opened for me, which is that no matter how it's gonna end up, it's gonna be okay. You know, it's gonna be good. Like even if we will not be able to go to Thailand for some reason, we will go somewhere else, or something else will happen, even if we will need to go home for some reason for some time, then it's gonna be still good, you know. Like, yeah, whatever happens, whatever the outcome is, it's gonna be good. And if you, you know, live, or if you just approach, let's say, this one situation, and once you approach this one situation, you can approach like that your entire life, right? But if you just this one situation approached in this way, where you would be like, Okay, well, I'm gonna take steps, but I'm not gonna try so hard, so I'm gonna die in the process, I'm not gonna be stressed about it, I'm not gonna be forcing the entire universe with my hand just so many things like this. Just imagine that you would be like, Okay, well, I'll take steps, they are fun, anyways, right? And then let's see what happens. And if we will get visa, we'll go there, and if we won't, we'll get them somewhere else, and we'll go there. And if if this won't be possible, then we will do something else. And you know that whatever happens, it's gonna be okay. Any any outcome will be good, yes, and if you live in that, then you're free, you're safe, you you chill, you don't have stress because there's nothing to stress about.
SPEAKER_03All of this, what you're saying, however, is a result of everything you evolve through. I hope you know that because of course it cannot just happen, and this is maybe for the listeners and the watchers.
SPEAKER_00It feels like it just happened, but it is a result of everything, everything is a result of everything.
SPEAKER_03Yes, and it's the awareness and the consciousness that evolved to the point where it finds out through data, experimenting, experiencing life and the lessons and being aware of everything. If this happened, then this happened, when this happened, when this happened, and then you are able to create a belief that you are safe no matter what, yeah, that life has your back. What is life? Baby, don't worry.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, baby, have my back. Have my back.
SPEAKER_03And that you are everything, and if you are everything, you don't want to hurt yourself. So you know that whatever step you take, the consciousness that's also the collective one through all the people, all the things moving parts in the universe and the world is anyways you, like your body. It's it's like cells in your body. That's what I really when I try when I want to connect with the life, I imagine that my body is the universe and all the or earth and all the cells and moving parts and processes that work no matter, I don't even know how, but they are working really well for me and I'm living really healthy, good life. I imagine that the world and the universe works the same way on the external plane, as above, so so below, as within, so without. And if I am able to trust, or remember, because it's a thing that we forget, if I'm able to remind myself, wait, you're everything, you're safe. It's working for you. I work in a friendly universe, friendly earth. I always figured everything out in the past. No matter how fucked up I thought I was, there would always be miracle happening. And if you get enough reps, I think you create this belief. No matter if you try hard or if you do exercise to change that belief, or if you go to healing and you energetically install, or you think you do that, the belief, that's the result that you're talking about. It's a result of natural evolution. And I think you cannot force this feeling. You can remind yourself until it becomes the neuropathway you wish to have, or the belief. This is like my my point of view on what you just said. I just wanted to say like this is not something I think you can remind yourself, and you keep choosing it until it becomes your norm that no matter what I do, life has my back.
SPEAKER_00I believe that no matter what you do, eventually you will get to the point where you will realize all of the things that we are realizing, or maybe you already did realize them, and that's the evolution. So you can be reminding yourself if you wish, if you think that that's something that makes you feel good and that's something that helps you, but you also don't have to because you will get there. It's the same thing that we said before, it's something's meant to be, and the evolution cannot be forced, it cannot be slowed down and it can cannot be speeded up. So whenever the time is supposed to come for you to understand certain lesson, you will understand that lesson, no matter if you are reminding yourself something or don't. You know, it's more that we consciously observe what's happening and we talk about it, and we we are trying to understand what's happening, and some things we do understand and some things we don't understand, but it's gonna happen eventually for everybody to understand everything and realize that what you said, we are one.
SPEAKER_03Yes, and also I believe that understanding on a mind level is one thing, and feeling it in your body and knowing inside, knowing that is a different thing. Because now maybe someone's listening to this, and even me, I have seasons where I forget, and there's no way I can remind this to myself in my body that this is what I know normally, but now for some reason I forgot that I'm safe, I forgot that life has my back, I forgot that I don't have to try so hard, and things just happen and come together so that I evolve in a way that feels good for me. And then there are times when I just know it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I believe we are tested over and over, and I think it's about being actually in that situation where you don't feel safe and don't feel dizzy or feel scared or feel stressed or something, and again, it's about not listening to that part because that's your ego, but knowing and choosing the part where you know you are safe. So, yes, it's a process, it's a process, that's the evolution, yes, and again, it cannot be made faster or slower, it's gonna happen and you know you're gonna learn what you need to learn. But I wanted to say that I want to build on what I said before about being in the present moment because I believe that that's something that really helps with all of this that we just described. Let's say about this process, okay? We're gonna about the Thailand that we wanna go, and we need to get this document and that document, and this this solved, and that situation, and whatever else there needs to be done, and you can be worried about that until the point you have all of it, which may take a month now.
SPEAKER_03It happened in the past for me with the dog. I was worried, and then everything was so easy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but what I'm trying to say is that now we have a month in front of us where we need to solve this, right? Yes, and you can be worried for a month and then be like when you finally have everything, yeah. But then imagine in what kind of situation you're gonna you're gonna be in for a for a whole month. State, yes, yeah, state. You're gonna be again stressed and fear and resistance, yes, not feeling good, and just maybe not sleeping because of that, and whatever else. And last time it literally we received the document that you can fly with the dog like two days before we're flying. Yes, so it literally can take that long, yeah. But being in a present moment means that you are every time here, you don't think about what if this happens, and what if we didn't get that, and what if it's gonna be too late, and what if this, and what if that, but you are here and you took a step. So the step is to apply for something, to to ask a vet to create some document for you, or to do this, yeah, and then just again being in that present moment, where in the meantime you can while you wait, because there's nothing you can do, right? While you wait, you can go for a swim or you can record a podcast, or you can just hang out with whatever, but just be there and not allowing the mind to go to the future. There's unlimited amounts of possibilities how the future can go, and your whatever your mind is creating, there's usually it usually doesn't happen, yeah, but it that makes you stressed. So being in the present moment means to be okay with how things are right now and not allowing the mind to go for you.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and if you really want to take it one step further and you want to go to those scenarios, because when you're trying to avoid something, it will always chase you. If you look at it like fears that you have, they somehow disappear. I don't have words for this, but I know it's true. If I have something and then I sit down and I'm like, okay, I'm looking at it, I'm looking ready straight in the eyes, I'm looking at this fear, then it somehow dissolves. When you have full mind, you can do one thing, and this is something I did yesterday. If you're afraid to take action or if you're really worried about something and taking that step, you can tell yourself, okay, what's the worst thing that can happen according to my mind? What's the best thing that can happen according to my mind? And then do it anyway. This is, I think, really nice exercise that helps you to understand what's the worst thing that can happen if all of this you know doesn't go through. I don't know, we go home. Okay, is that so bad? No, I miss my mom. I can see her, would be nice.
SPEAKER_00It's a little bit opposite of what I was speaking in the beginning, because what I was trying to say in the beginning is that however the situation will evolve, it will be always good. So there is no worst case scenario.
SPEAKER_03According to your mind, the mind, you give the mind something that it sees that the worst thing, if you ask this question, was the worst quote-unquote thing, it will show you what it's afraid of, and in that process you realize that it's good. The worst thing is actually bearable. The fear, the biggest fear you actually have, is a bearable thing. There's nothing to be afraid of. And if you go there, this is the point. If you go there, if you look at the situation, what's the worst thing, and you are courageous enough to face it, what your mind creates like a dangerous scenario, disaster.
SPEAKER_00And then so I have it differently, I guess.
SPEAKER_03Like then you're like, actually, it's not so bad. And then the result is exactly what you talk about.
SPEAKER_00Because I don't have worse scenario, like there's no worse scenario.
SPEAKER_03No, you don't, but others maybe because I do.
SPEAKER_00I again I remind myself that you know I don't let my mind be telling me what is worse scenario because I know it's my mind.
SPEAKER_03So then what are you afraid of with this process?
SPEAKER_00I don't know. That's the thing of unknown that I don't know what's gonna happen. Because there's unlimited amounts of possibilities, and to be listening to my mind that this might happen. Yes, it might, but also there's a million other things that might happen. So for me, it's like I'm here, and once that happens, then I'm gonna solve it. But It's not happening, then why would I go to some unknown scenario? But for what I what I know is that whatever the unknown scenario will be, it will be good.
SPEAKER_03So it's all about self-trust and trust in life.
SPEAKER_00I I I don't know. I don't believe that's what it is.
SPEAKER_03And that's the thing you build.
SPEAKER_00For me, when you say self-trust, it means that I trust that we will be able to go to Thailand. I trust myself that I will be able to make the things in a way so we go to Thailand. And that goes the old way that I don't wanna I don't wanna approach. For me, it's more like trusting in life itself.
SPEAKER_03But you are alive, and if you start to trust in yourself and you understand everything is connected, you automatically, when you get there, you under it's just connected connecting for me.
SPEAKER_00But yes, you're right in this what you said, because yeah, since all is one, then obviously trusting in me is trusting in life. But for me, like when you say self-trust, it reminds me the separate self that trust in itself and that knows that it can somehow do things so it goes the way it wants. But that's that's the old way that I don't want to.
SPEAKER_03It's all about perspective because this is what you see when I say this is what I see, and this is the thing. When people listen to this podcast, thousand people will see it in thousand different ways.
SPEAKER_00Of course, of course.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so whatever we're saying, also, like for example, words, syllables put together and some sounds that come out of our mouth, cannot even comprehend and cover what we actually are trying to communicate here. So, yes, the podcast is really great, and you listen to our words, but I invite you to also see what it does to your whole body, to how you feel, because this transmission is not only the words we say and what we're trying to say, we cannot possibly cover with words, even though we love that and we try. But at the end of the day, we need to detach from the fact that this actually makes sense by the words. This was my always my biggest fear, and why I didn't start making podcasts earlier was that people don't understand me. People don't understand what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_00I'm not able to articulate firstly for yourself. It doesn't matter that they don't understand. Of course, you can.
SPEAKER_03So I I really believe I'm not able to believe that I should take a space.
SPEAKER_00So I'm taking space.
SPEAKER_03It's amazing. I love it actually, and I'm also happy that I can lovingly say, Can I finish? Yeah. And now I forgot. No, I didn't. But thank you. I'm gonna finish the sentence, and the sentence is that I was afraid that my words do not describe what I feel or what I want to transfer into the video or to the world. And then I detached from the fact that it will never, not that it will never be enough, but that it is enough the way it is. And just the fact I enjoy it, and maybe my words don't make sense, but I trust that somehow this entire setup, the energy that is emanating from us, the unseen shit that's happening here, is enough for the person to get what they need to get from what we're sharing here and what we're speaking about. Because English is also our second language, so it's not like we are master articulators, I think, and that's okay. That's what I wanted to say. I don't even know why.
SPEAKER_00And you also I see your look, and now I'm yeah, sometimes when you speak, I just um it's just so far from my understanding of life and universe and what's going on that I just have to let you and I have there's nothing I can say about that.
SPEAKER_03Because that's the difference between us, you know. Your mind is mostly empty, and my mom is full of these things, and they rarely meet, but the love between us mostly meet, I would say.
SPEAKER_00They rarely don't meet.
SPEAKER_03Even now they don't meet. I say rarely you say mostly, but they somehow still exist together.
SPEAKER_00But we are already recording for half an hour and they've been meeting for 25 or 28 minutes, so it's mostly for me. Okay, but it can be six years as well. It can be rarely for you, so yeah, you know.
SPEAKER_03Can I circle back to what you actually wanted to share? And in the beginning you shared, so I think you wanted to share, if I remember correctly, is that you suddenly see a new option to not worry.
SPEAKER_00Yes, and in the past option that is like really freedom, because again, if you are just in a present moment enjoying every step, and not and this is the key for me, because you said that you you basically I have it differently, okay? You let your mind to go to the worst case scenarios. I don't, I I am here. And when my mind tries to tell me, but what if this happens? Then I'll be like, Well, if it happens, then I will I will deal with that. I will deal with yeah, future Tomas will deal with that. But right now, you're giving me one out of the unlimited amounts of billions of options that can happen, you know. So, why am I gonna be worried about something that is chance one out of billion that's gonna happen? So that's why I stay here, and that's being in the present moment and being okay there. Like, of course, you do the steps. If you want this, you do the steps, but you don't do them in a way that you would be like, oh, you just do them and you chill the fuck out. And that's freedom. Yes, because you know that if it happens, it happens and it's gonna be good. And if it won't happen, it won't happen and it's gonna be good. Because something else will happen, which will be good, and whatever happens will be good, because you will always be in the present moment, enjoying what you are doing, taking the steps towards the things that are attracting you, that makes you feel good, that you feel like you wanna explore, you wanna try, and and then you you don't have stress, you are not worried, you are not, you don't have problems. You I mean, you always will have some, probably, but but you you are much more freer, you feel much more safer, you feel like all it's completely opposite of the first option where you are just putting all your energy and resources into manipulating the entire universe just so it ends up like this. Yes, yes. So that's what I was talking about, and it connects with what we've been speaking all the time, which is acceptance, yeah, which is to accept that if I'm supposed to go to Thailand, I'll go, if I'm supposed to stay in Vietnam, I'll stay in Vietnam, and if I'm supposed to go there, I'll go there. Yeah, and um, also staying in the present moment where you know that things will be always good, and you will deal with situations once the time comes to deal with them, yeah, you know, and I think this is the also difference between us.
SPEAKER_03For you, your practice you do is to bring yourself to the present moment because that's where you find this relaxation, safety, peace. Is that true?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, that's I guess I I believe you do the same, but go ahead.
SPEAKER_03So you have fear of unknown. This is what I would well okay. I've been with you for six years, and I can see if something is like you don't know what's gonna happen, that's when you start to have a little bit of resistance and these worries. This is what I see, okay? Yeah. I was put through my whole life into so many unknowns that I became I started to be excited from it. For me, I love unknown because it's the possibilities that can always work out for me. That's the that part is not fear for me. It's not I'm not scared of an unknown. For me, it's actually the mind's negative things that it tells me, and that's my biggest fear. For you, your medicine to go from the fear of unknown is to come back to the present moment, and you are here and you feel good. For me, the stress from the negative shit that I hear is to face it. That's my medicine, to face it and understand it's not me. I create that space between me and those thoughts, like you won't have money for that.
SPEAKER_00We do the same things, baby. It's the same thing, we do exactly the same thing.
SPEAKER_03How? How is facing and looking at my fear and thoughts and realizing I am not dead and I choose because I also have the same face, same things that I have to face. What do you face when you go back to present moment? You just realize you are here in the body, no beautiful sun, beautiful. No?
SPEAKER_00No, it's not exactly the same thing, baby.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, my mind doesn't get it. Can you explain it to me?
SPEAKER_00You think that I just tell myself, okay, I get back to present moment and I'm good. Yeah. Well, that's not how it works. Like you don't feel good about something, right? And you don't make it disappear by telling yourself, okay, I'm here, everything is fine.
SPEAKER_03Oh, doesn't work for me.
SPEAKER_00It doesn't work for anybody. You like you're gonna feel that shit until you're gonna be okay with that shit. Ah which means you actually bring your resistance and you bring yourself to the present moment when you observe that and you realize that's not you, and you realize I'm here, which means you realize you're in the present moment. Okay, it's the same thing.
SPEAKER_03Oh, what a mind fuck.
SPEAKER_00It's the same thing. Well, it's the same thing, the the only difference that we have is that I feel all of that shit and you hear all of that shit.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, man. And of course, my mind says, Well, I wish I felt it and didn't hear it, but then that's just fucking useless thoughts again. And it's okay, take your thoughts, but no, I wanna ask you. Can I ask you something? So you felt somehow last night, you felt somehow this morning, and then you told me you you want to record, speak about this, blah blah blah. I want to ask you if as recording this and you speaking about it shifted something for you, or what's the process? Why do you enjoy? Why did you why did your what would feel good right now? What would your why did your true self choose to do this? And what was the reason?
SPEAKER_00I don't have answers to those things. It's like when you ask me why do I love you? I just do. I don't have answers to these things, and honestly, I don't care. Why did you choose to go to the ocean in the morning? Why did you say let's go to the ocean? It's just because it felt good. But it just like it just like the the idea just pops there, right? And then you are okay, let's do it.
SPEAKER_03But I'm not asking about the idea, I'm asking about the if you can observe and compare how you felt before and if this podcast was helpful, if you're speaking to me.
SPEAKER_00I didn't understand the question.
SPEAKER_03Okay, sorry. Well, not sorry. I'm gonna rephrase.
SPEAKER_00I understand. I we don't have to.
SPEAKER_03Can I try? Is there a difference between how you feel after doing something you love and that you enjoy than before?
SPEAKER_00Again, I don't understand shit. What are you talking about?
SPEAKER_03So actually understand, but not with words. So answer.
SPEAKER_00No, before I thought that you are asking me if me speaking about what was happening makes me feel better about what was happening. Yes, so why didn't you say that? But I did, dude.
SPEAKER_01You just didn't because you you I'm lavering and you're okay.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so I don't know. Let's see. Yes, let's see. I'm here, I'm recording, and I feel good now. But then when I stop, I will need to go on my computer and check for the flight tickets and actually buy them and do other things, and then I'll see how I feel about it. But I'm not gonna go there because I'm here right now. Now I feel good because I'm in the present moment, and I'm not gonna think about how I'm gonna feel once I do something.
SPEAKER_01But I'm not asking you how you're gonna feel, I'm asking you how you feel now.
SPEAKER_00I am here in the present moment. And you're feeling recording the podcast, feeling so I feel good, which has nothing to do with how I feel about the situation that I was explaining here.
SPEAKER_03But it's not separate, you are here and you have feelings.
SPEAKER_00You you don't understand.
SPEAKER_03I do understand. You don't understand.
SPEAKER_00Laska, I'm talking about myself. So how can I not understand myself, but you do understand me, please. Look, it's like this. It's like when you put something on pause, right? Be more loving, please. What are you talking about? Okay, let we'll see. We'll see. We'll see. You I wanna know. I I'm really interested in when you're gonna see me saying these words, how like if you're gonna see that that was not loving. But okay, I okay, if it's gonna be. I'll be happy to, you know, see that.
SPEAKER_03Well, actually, I'm gonna give myself more love because it's probably what I need right now for myself.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so you know that's like how it usually is.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So let's say that you have some kind of argument between people, okay? You understand that, right? Okay, so you have argument and then you pause that argument because you need to go out with your friends. Okay, so that argument is not finished, so you still feel that shit. But then you go out with friends. How do you feel with friends? Good. Does it have anything to do with argument? No.
SPEAKER_03Well, there can be in the back of your head, but it's still stab eventually.
SPEAKER_00You are in the with the friends, you are in the present moment, you are having fun, you are talking about completely different things. Let's say that these two people start missing each other after some time, okay, and then they reconnect and they are happy together, but they didn't speak about that reason why they had an argument. So it's still unfinished, yeah, and it's still there. Yeah, but at the same time, they feel good together. Yeah, okay. But once they approach that argument, so you understand? So that's what's happening right now. Okay, that situation is in the room with the computer and it's there, it's not finished, it's not finished. But here I feel amazing because we are doing something else. It's like when I'm in the ocean, I'm not thinking about oh my god, I need to get a health certificate for my dog. Oh my god, I don't know. I do that. Okay.
SPEAKER_03For me, even if I'm in the ocean, the thoughts can always come.
SPEAKER_00Okay, well, not for me, I'm there. I don't have to, I I just I'm just I'm just there. Oh my god, this is so triggering for me.
SPEAKER_02Because I feel like you are exactly where I want to be with this thing, and then I'm like, why am I not there?
SPEAKER_00Because you want to be somewhere else where you are, that's why you are not there. Yeah, that's fine. You need to be okay with those exactly.
SPEAKER_03That's why for me, facing it and being with it.
SPEAKER_00But being with it is the probleming, how long you are with the things. But what you can actually do is to say that I'm here, and thank you. I'll deal with it later.
SPEAKER_03And that was my question about how you feel. If you feel good now compared to then, and the answer is yes, I'm here and I feel good. And then that's all I wanted to ask you.
SPEAKER_00Well, like you told me a million times, however, you think that you want me to answer, I will answer on my own, by my own words, in my own way, and usually it's not the way that the other person wants us to answer, right?
SPEAKER_03Exactly like the process with the visa and traveling. Exactly. And that's the same thing. Yes, the same lesson. And if we think somebody will act the way we want, if the visa documents and dog health certificate and travel process will go the way we want, if we think our partner will change into the idea of how we want them to be, if we think our life will be one day how we want we want it to be, we might as well just fucking right now because it will never be like that. Or it will be, but we will not get there the way you think you will get there. For me, it's really crazy because everything I ever wanted is happening, but the road there is you know, you know what I'm thinking, you know what I'm thinking?
SPEAKER_00Um you're right that sometimes maybe you're right that sometimes those feelings from the previous situations you can bring into the present moment, right?
SPEAKER_03I mean, they are there if everything is one.
SPEAKER_00And it takes, yeah, and it sometimes takes time to be able to get to the present moment. And this is the present moment that we've been talking about. Because if you are really in the present moment, there is no mind, there is no there is no thoughts, there is no voices, there is no feelings, it's just good because you in the present moment agree with everything that is happening, you are just there, you are happy, you enjoy whatever is happening.
SPEAKER_03You're grateful.
SPEAKER_00You're grateful, yes. And it sometimes takes some time. Let's say when we went to the ocean, okay, and you say that you have some thoughts there, but I think that what you can do, how you can bring yourself to the present moment, is to do exactly what you were doing in the beginning of this video, where you were reminding ourselves how amazing things are. I did that at the beach, yes, and and and that brings you to that present moment because right now, when we are like doing this video, I don't have even space to think about something that I need to do in an hour or two, you know. But I'm here with you. It's like when we play pedal. You remember? Yeah, like we were playing pedal, and you told me that this is amazing. I don't think about anything else, I'm just playing. That's being in the present moment, and you can do it in anything, you do anytime, anywhere. You can do it when you cook, you can be just in the present moment.
SPEAKER_03But I don't think you can for me, this is really, really hard topic. I will be honest with you, because when you speak, I disagree in my body because you make it sound easy and you make it sound like you just do that, you just do this, you just remove your thoughts, and you just are in the present. It doesn't work like that for everyone, and I invite you to be more flexible in not projecting it on everybody else that it's just do it, it's so easy. You know how hard it is for me. We are even if we are in a podcast, even if we are speaking, dude. You know how many voices there are in my head being like, Oh, but this sounds like this, and I have to do that. Everybody is at very different level, and it triggers me when you say, Yeah, you just do this, and you speak in a you, and it's like, well, maybe you, but not me. And I I cannot agree with you. I cannot be like, Yeah, guys, this is how it is, and we are the masters of present. No, oh my god, it's completely opposite for me, it's the hardest thing, and I think uh I understand, and you know it's it's perfectly normal.
SPEAKER_00Like also when you speak about some things that I still didn't learn in my evolution, then of course it's triggering for me, and when it's opposite, then of course it's triggering, yeah. But uh, again, that's something where you will get, but uh just be okay where you are, because if you're gonna try again so hard to get there, then you will never get there.
SPEAKER_03That's what I want to speak about. That's what I wanted to share.
SPEAKER_00It's the same thing as I was speaking about the Thailand, like you do everything in your power just so you get there. You will never get there. No, no, you need to just be okay with what is at all times, and that's being in the present moment.
SPEAKER_03But you cannot push yourself because I know that what I tend to slip into this kind of habit is but push myself into being in the present moment. I am here, I am now, and it doesn't fucking work. It is opposite, you just have to allow all the thoughts to be here, and that's when suddenly the bungee jumping shit.
SPEAKER_00It's not this, you know. So it's not but it's come on, it's it's being okay.
SPEAKER_03The sun is on my face, I do it. Thank you.
SPEAKER_00Maybe it's being okay with whatever is, okay? But you cannot force it, there's no but you don't force anything again. You are okay with whatever is. So when there are please let me finish for Jesus' love. So when you have the million thoughts, you are okay with having million thoughts. You are not trying not to have them. If you feel like this, then again, you are not to try to feel differently. Yes, because it's okay that you feel like that, and it's okay that you have thoughts, and it's okay that you don't have thoughts and it's not easy.
SPEAKER_03It's so hard to grow. It's not easy, but you don't have to shirt thing, you're just okay with what is.
SPEAKER_00I'm just saying how I see it, but I'm not saying it's it's a shirting, I'm not saying it's easy, it's a process, and again, this is what we are talking about an evolution. If you have resistance to do something, then it will happen when it will happen. And again, again, for the 15th time in this episode, you cannot speed it up and you cannot slow it down. And if you remember those two things that you cannot speed it up, and you cannot slow it down, then you can just chill because it will happen when it will happen.
SPEAKER_03And it also has nothing you need to do but letting go of control, controlling, controlling, controlling, trust, allow, surrender. Yeah, that's the that's the thing I keep reminding myself. Like when you speak and you trigger me, I'm like allow, that's all for me. That's my that's my kind of message. Like, don't reject, don't resist, don't just yes, it's this whole podcast is about that.
SPEAKER_00Like I started with that one situation, but you can apply it anywhere in your life. It's it's not just about that one situation, it's about anything. Well Okay, I guess that's it. Let's remind ourselves once again that the reason why we are here are these beautiful magnetic couples bracelets that connect with the magnet and are so amazing to wear because you have your person with you all the time. And I honestly always loved bracelets since I was young and Me too. I liked these friendship bracelets and when somebody gave you one, it was so amazing because like you could think about them all the time and it was just perfect and felt connected no matter where you were in the world. Yeah. I like that when you just hold hand, they just anytime randomly click itself.
SPEAKER_03And you know what's funny? When they click, it brings me into present moment. They are the anchor for me personally. And I also do my best to I'm gonna just say it, trying to do my best to speak about is in our marketing, that it is the anchor of presence, of togetherness, of connection, of flow, of the foundation that is love that you guys have no matter what your minds try to, you know, battle with each other and be right and win the argument and persuade the other person that your opinion is the one that is correct, or go this way, or go that way, or have this for dinner, or have this for all of this is like entertainment. But what I know and what I really believe that these magnets do, they do remind you that magnetic force that life brought you together with in order to go through this evolution together.
SPEAKER_00And you know, I'm doing my best to speak about it in marketing, but then you know, I believe that anything will do for you what you believe it does for you. Yeah, and um that's the NLP, that's the how we program the bracelets, and you can program them with anything, and and yes, for us, it's it's just something that reminds you, like same as when we started this podcast. You reminded us that we basically live our dream, yeah, no matter what our minds is trying to tell us, how hard is this or that, or how uncomfortable is this or that, you know. Like we do have that, you know. We do like it's it's already here, and this is the bracelets and the magnet dust. That no matter what kind of argument you have or how how you feel about the other person, like this reminds you that you do have that love.
SPEAKER_03This removes your reactions to the circumstances and brings you here and helps you remember that you love each other, you are here for a reason. If you're not meant to be here, you wouldn't be clicking this fucking bracelets into one to remember you are one and you are a team, and you are shaping your reality together, and you are here to grow and learn and thrive together. Because you're a mirror of each other, and what makes you angry about the other person is actually what makes you angry about yourself, because what you feel like what is being done to you by your partner or the world is actually what you do to yourself because it's just a reflection. There's no way you would see it outside of you if it's not inside of you already.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and that's also when you say that you do it to yourself, you can actually do it to somebody else because it's also you, another body.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I love you. Thank you for watching. Go to go to YouTube because there are our faces and our bracelets, you can see them there. You can find them www.magneticouples bracelets.com or Instagram or whatever, TikTok, all of these places have the link, and you can get your pair, and to always have that anchor for your relationship, or even for yourself, honestly, if you don't have a partner, to always have that anchor with you, anchoring you to the present moment and to love that is the foundation for everything because life is about evolution and learning who we really are, which is love, and life is love.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we actually gave these bracelets to a couple of our single friends, and they most of them all of them found all of them within months like really fuzzy. It was crazy, it was just like wow.
SPEAKER_03Then they broke up again when they served the purpose, the relationship served the season of lessons, and then they moved on, which is also not all of them, but yeah, yeah, it's cool.
SPEAKER_00Okay, let's go. You have a lot of sun on your face. Okay. Bye.
SPEAKER_01See you in the next one.
